Read Acts 14: 8-20 (NIV)

Belief!

Belief and trusting in God’s grace. Paul saw in this man’s eyes that he believed God could heal him. Wow! To see such belief in another person’s eye must have been so beautiful. I want to show that in my eye. Lately I have had the following words stuck in my head for good reason: God’s got his hand on me. I want people to see through my actions that I believe that. And I do!  God has healed me,  continues to heal me and will heal me. I know it. I believe it, my eyes are dead set on it with a fervor I hope a flicker similar to what Paul saw in the eye of the man described in Acts. And to think Paul just wanted to persuade people to continue trusting in God’s grace. Persuade on my biblical mentors!

Prayer: Thank you Lord for persuading me to trust in your grace. Each morning you do. Through your word, the stories you tell. I feel your hand on me. I felt it yesterday. I was consumed with it Sunday. Washing me in your cool waters of grace. Persuading me to continue trusting. Help me set my eyes on it and focus intensely and continue daily to believe you can and will heal.
