Read Romans 4  (NIV)

I need to hear faith, and not actions is what God values. I am a doer by  nature. Getting it done comes naturally. So God gives this free gift of grace and freedom through his son? What, you mean I can’t earn it or learn it? Wow! That’s pretty radical stuff. I love to read about Abraham and his faith, it gives me clear perspective, I mean this guy was no joke. Old and tired and hanging on to his faith and hope knowing nothing else but that God was holding on to his end. He was living by faith in a time when rules and regulations were valued most! Living in faith is hard in the everyday, but Abraham can be a mentor to learn from and a model to strive for…..
