…..One night during a particularly trying time, I was tossing and turning, worrying about something I cannot recall now. This is always the case, isn’t it? The things we worry about are so insignificant! Well, after pulling out every get back to sleep trick I know including prayer, breathing, daydreaming and many more…… I turned and looked at the clock, desperate for sleep…. 1:41. …… God prompted me to get up and spend some time in his word. Reluctantly, I did. I went downstairs and found a powerful verse in John, John 14:1, my life verse now.

Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, trust also in me. John 14:1 (NIV)
